Open Invitation to Private Chefs: Starting from 2011, SpiritLand Bistro relinquishes the culinary honor of pairing food for our most popular BYOB event, to serve as a platform for talented private Chefs who resonate with Organic, Global and Sustainable principles. If you are interested, and are comfortable to introduce yourself through our humble restaurant to nice folks who are into healthy lifestyles, good friendship, good wine, good fun & delicious organic food, we invite you to contact Leslie HERE.
About BYOB The last Wednesday of each month, you bring a wine per the theme for all to sample (no corkage), and we will prepare a gourmet organic four-course meal to match the wines! Seating will be family-style to encourage interaction and promote a community feeling of fun. A local winemaker will bring samples per the theme & chat between courses to give some background on the featured varietal(s) & food pairing.
Our unique wine & dine format starts at 6:30 pm with each couple (or individual) bringing a nice bottle of the theme wine (no corkage fee) to share with everyone during the first 45 minutes, complemented by the cheese course from C'est Cheese. Getting a small taste of many wines side-by-side is a unique opportunity as well as a great mingling activity.
Then all attendees will be seated at large tables to encourage socializing for the remainder of the meal. (Menu details & speaker for the current month can be seen by clicking the link to our current month event above.) Additional bottles may be brought (no corkage) to share with the table. Cost is only $50 including tax and tip. As seating is limited, advance reservations by credit card are required. We are usually sold out by mid-month, so reserve early!
